A man is literally what he thinks, his character being the complete sum of all his thoughts. Our inner self always projects outside. Our true character always gets reflected when we interact and communicate with others. If we are honest, kind, compassionate towards others, suppose if we under others well. Great personalities always inspire everyone around them. It is not words that come out of the mouth of these people that works as stimulus of inspiration. It is the whole aura and vibrations emitted by these people which does the work and create magic.
What is Character? Character is the mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual. It also the way someone thinks, feels and behaves, a set of qualities that makes you different from others.
Things to note about thought and character: Mere words coming out of the mouth of someone who does not practice what he preaches may be applauded, if he is a good speaker. However, these words will not influence others. They are not going to be life changing for some one. But if a person who says what he means can change everything by influence thousands of people. Every thought you think is a force sent out. So, watch what you think! Whatever your position in life maybe, before you hope to enter into any measure of success, usefulness and power, you must learn how to focus your thought. A man’s character influences the conditions and circumstances of his life. Every action springs forth first from thought even actions considered to be spontaneous and unpremeditated.
The law of cause and effect exists in the world of thought, not just the natural world. A God-like character is the result of God-like thoughts. Man is made or unmade by his own thoughts, which can destroy him or build him up. Man becomes master of his household of thoughts by application, self -analysis and experiences.
Gold and diamonds are found only by much searching and mining. Similarly, a man must dig deep in the mine of his soul to find every truth connected with his being.
A man must watch, control and after his thought tracing their effect on himself, others and his life and circumstance. In doing so he will prove to himself that he is a maker of his own character, life and destiny.
How to Improve your character! 1. Discipline: this implies some degree of discipline whereby you make sacrifice and faces hardship to solve a problem or achieve a goal. 2. Accountability and Responsibility: this experience of being trusted with something of importance. 3. Risk Taking: Calculated risk taking is a fundamental aspect of character building. 4. Leadership: leading others towards a common purpose will help in developing your character. 5. Personal Reflection: period of personal reflection also build character. 6. Goals: the experience of setting and working towards a goal.
Conclusion: Every man is where he is by laws of his being; thoughts which he has built into his character have brought him there, and in the arrangement of his life there is no element of chance, but all is the result of a law which cannot err.
